Spring Hollow Campground (Logan)
Surrounded by oak and maple trees, Spring Hollow Campground provides much relief from the hustle and bustle of cities. The campground is good for both tent and RV camping. Though there is no electricity or sewer hook-up at the camp, you would still have a great time there. Running water is available at the campground. There are also fire rings where you can cook your meals and keep yourselves warm on a cold evening. There’s a river and a pond within the vicinity of the campground. Campers are permitted to go swimming, canoeing, or fishing in these water bodies. Spring Hollow Campground happens to be a dog friendly campground. So, it is a place where you and your fur baby can go camping together. Doggos would have to be on a leash at all times. And, you would need to clean up after your pooch.
Rockport State Park (Peoa)
There are about five different campgrounds at Rockport State Park. These campgrounds provide developed, primitive, group, and boat-in camping options. Amenities at this place include hook-ups for RVs, drinking water, hot showers, modern restrooms, dump stations, picnic tables, fish cleaning stations, and sewage disposal stations. There’s also a church in the park! Home to Rockport Reservoir, the state park offers gorgeous landscapes and a bunch of exciting recreational activities. Campers visiting the park in the summer season can indulge in boating, fishing, and water skiing, while the ones visiting the park in the winter season can have a great time ice fishing and spending time at the nearby snowmobile trails. According to their needs, the campers may choose to utilize only partial hook-ups (water and electricity). The East Canyon Reservoir is located at this state park. This means that along with amazing views, you’ll find numerous fun activities to do there. Hiking, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, ice fishing, and picnicking — do anything and everything that makes you happy. If you are a pet parent and are always looking for a spot for some dog friendly camping, then you are in luck. The campgrounds at East Canyon State Park happen to be pet-friendly.
