Balloon View RV Park (Albuquerque)

People who love to indulge in RV camping often head to Balloon View RV Park. The campground has about 87 pull-through spaces for RVs. All the sites have full hook-ups. They have cable T.V. Nestled amidst a forest of pine trees, the campground at Cimarron Canyon State Park is incredibly serene and beautiful. It is located close to a river and hence, many people go fishing while visiting this campsite. Other than fishing, nature lovers can go on a hike and for wildlife viewing while exploring the places near the campsite. You can pitch a tent or take your RV to camp here. However, please keep in mind that no RV hook-ups are available on-site. Only two of the campsites are wheelchair accessible so you would need to plan accordingly. Each of the sites has access to drinking water and comes with its own fire ring and picnic table. If you are looking for a pet friendly campground in New Mexico, then the campground at Cimarron Canyon State Park is a place that you can consider. Leashed dogs are welcome at this campground. You would have to make sure that the leash is no longer than 10 feet. You would also need to clean up after your dogs. Park rules suggest that pawrents stop their pets from excessive barking and disturbing other campers. You are also never to leave your pooch unattended while camping there.

Elephant Rock Campground (Red River)

Tall trees, rocky hills, and the blue sky above — Elephant Rock Campground is a very peaceful place. The sounds of chirpy birds and the waters of the river add a whole new layer to the tranquility of the place. The campground has 12 sites that are suitable for tents and trailers. In addition to this, there are ten more sites that can accommodate RVs under 18 feet. Each of the campsites is equipped with a fire ring, a picnic table, and a tent pad. Elephant Rock Campground happens to have many dog friendly campsites. So, your pupper can accompany you to this campground on your next camping trip. You can let your doggo tag along with you when you go hiking in the nearby hiking trails. Pets are allowed to go off the leash on these trails as long as they are well-trained and come running back to you every time you call them. While at the campground, pooches need to be on a leash at all times. You would also need to clean up after your furkid when s/he makes a mess or poops.
