White Horse Lake Campground (Williams)

19 miles southeast of Williams is the White Horse Lake — a gorgeous and tranquil place that would make your soul happy. White Horse Lake Campground is located right next to this lake and is the perfect place for you to spend some quality time with your family and friends. Other than the lake and forest, another reason why people choose to camp here is that it is located just an hour away from Grand Canyon National Park's south rim. So, it is convenient for people who want to visit the Grand Canyon as well, and want to avoid the crowds of the campgrounds located within the Grand Canyon itself. There are a bunch of fun activities that can be undertaken while camping at White Horse Lake Campground. Hiking, biking, fishing, boating, climbing, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing — indulge in anything and everything that excites you. The amenities available in and around the campground include drinking water, ranger station, vault toilets, wheelchair accessibility, accessible parking, accessible boat ramp, accessible campsites, picnic table, grills/fire ring, BBQ, tent pad, and fire pit. White Horse Lake Campground happens to be a pet friendly campground. So, you can take your furbaby with you when you visit the spot for camping. However, you would have to make sure that your doggo is on a leash at all times. You would also need to clean up after your pet when they make a mess.

Page Lake Powell Campground (Page)

A beautiful lake in a desert with the blue skies above — that’s what you find at Page Lake Powell Campground. The campground caters to RVs with full hookups that include water, electricity, and a sewage system. Free Wi-Fi is available almost throughout the campground. Other amenities include a laundry facility, playground, fitness room, liquid propane gas, dump station, and boat parking area. Page Lake Powell Campground is a great place for people who want to go on a dog friendly camping trip. The campground welcomes well-behaved pups who want to accompany their pawrents on a camping trip. But, you would have to keep your furkid on a leash at all times.
