White Rock Lake Dog Park, Dallas
White Rock Lake Dog Park is a humongous off leash dog park located at the Northwestern side of White Rock Lake Park. This is a favorite amongst the locals of Dallas as the park is in close proximity to hiking, cycling and jogging trails. Boating facility is also available nearby. White Rock Lake Dog Park offers a number of amenities to its visitors; such as picnic tables, drinking fountain, drinking bowl for dogs, pet waste station, trash receptacles, benches, and dog washing stations. There’s even a “dog launch, where you and your dog have access to the lake. Also, there are separate areas for small dogs and bigger dogs. So, if your little darling gets a bit tensed around bigger dogs or vice versa, then this is a great park for your pupper. The best thing about this place are the awesome views that you get to see from there.
Dog Park at Phil Hardberger Park, San Antonio
The dog park at Phil Hardberger Park is counted amongst the best dog parks in the city. The 311-acre Phil Hardberger Park has two separate off-leash areas for dogs; each located on either sides of the park. If you want your furkid to get some exercise, then this park is a great option for your little darling as there an obstacle course and other pieces of exercise equipment that your doggo would love to play around with. S/he would also be able to make new furfriends at this park as plenty of dogs visit this amazing happy place every day. There’s even a two-story dog house at the west side of the park for dogs to play in and also, to get some shade.
West Austin Dog Park, Austin
West Austin Dog Park is a clean and well maintained dog park that is quite popular amongst the residents of Austin. It is one of those parks that allow dogs to run around off leash and have the time of their lives. Though it is an off leash dog park, pawrents are required to keep a leash with them at all times. Located at the Clarksville Historic District, West Austin Dog Park offers many amenities to its visitors; such as playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts and a wading pool. There’s even a beautiful nature trail nearby, and pooches along with their pawrents are welcome to explore this trail as long as they are on a leash. Pawrents would need to carry waste disposal bags to clean up after their pets if they decide to go poo while in the park or in its surrounding areas.
Alexander Deussen Dog Park, Houston
Alexander Deussen Dog Park is one of the best off leash dog parks in Houston. This humongous park has everything that a doggo might need for him/her to have a good time; which is, plenty of space for him/her to run free, other friendly doggos and humans to play with. The park even has an agility course where your little darling can have some fun. Other amenities include benches, drinking water and a separate area for the smaller dogs. Alexander Deussen Dog Park also has a double- gated entrance so that the puppers playing in the park can’t get out of the place without their pawrent’s permission. After a long day of playing and running around outside, a pupper can get a bit grimy. So, there’s a dog washing area where you can simply hose off your little darling before leaving the park.
