Hermon Dog Park covers a large area and is fenced in. So, your pet would be safe while playing with his/her doggie friends. The place is neither too crowded not isolated. So, there would be plenty of other dogs for your furbaby to play with. There are a few obstacle course equipment at this dog park. The place is perfect for your pet to play, exercise and socialize. The best thing about Hermon Dog Park is that there is a separate enclosed area for smaller pooches who may not do well with bigger dogs. So, if you have a furbaby who’s scared of the bigger dogs or who simply doesn’t like playing with them, then this park is highly recommended for your pupper and you.

Ocean Beach, San Francisco

Beautiful clean shores, vast blue skies and the soothing rhythm of the waves— that’s Ocean Beach in a nutshell. It is a huge beach that stretches over almost whole of Sunset District, from Cliff House south to Sloat Boulevard. The beach is a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It is a pet friendly beach where dogs can explore the area with their humans without any restraints. Dog are allowed to go off leash from stairwell 1 to stairwell 21. They are welcome at other areas of the beach too. However, they are not allowed to go off leash on those other areas. Because of the cold temperature and strong rip currents of the water, swimming at Ocean Beach is not advisable. You and your pupper can enjoy the stunning views, watch windsurfers skillfully making their way through the waves and people making bonfires; exuding positive vibes all around.

Nate's Point Dog Park, San Diego

Established in 1996, Nate's Point Dog Park is a huge dog park spanning across an area of approximately 2.3 acres. This is a place where puppers are allowed to go off leash. This beautiful park is fenced in, with a double-entry gate. So, you don’t need to worry about your doggie running away from there while playing with other doggos or when other people (and their furbabies) are getting in and out of the park. For your convenience, there’s even a drinking fountain and picnic tables at this park. It is one of the best off leash dog parks in the city. Nate's Point Dog Park is a favorite amongst local pawrents. So, your pupper would have plenty of new furfriends to play with when you visit this awesome happy place.

Douglas Family Preserve, Santa Barbara

Douglas Family Preserve is a 70-acre park located at a picturesque neighborhood near the intersection of Cliff Drive and Las Positas Road. This gorgeous piece of nature offers sweeping vistas of the ocean. It is popular amongst people who love to go hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. It is also popular amongst pawrents who like to let their dog run with the wind and feel free. Though Douglas Family Preserve is known to be one of the best parks that allow dogs, they are not allowed to go off leash all through the park. They would have to stay on a leash while entering the park. However, there’s no reason to fret. There are many places in the park where your little darling would be able to go off leash and have the time of his/her life.
