River Park, Pascagoula
River Park is a popular dog friendly beach that is frequented by pets and pawrents of the nearby areas. It covers an area of 8.6 acres and has an off-leash dog park. Watch your furkid’s tail wag nonstop as s/he gets to run around and play with other doggos in the park, having the time of his/her life. The park has a kayak launch area, a fishing pier, a boat ramp and picnic tables. So, if you want to indulge in any of these fun activities, you can easily do so.
Front Beach, Ocean Springs
Though Front Beach is a pet friendly beach, your little darling would have to be kept on a leash at all times. And you would need to pick up after them if they make any mess. Front beach offers stunning vistas of the Ocean Springs-Biloxi Bay Bridge and of the Ocean Springs Harbor. There’s an 800 ft. boardwalk at the harbor where you and your pupper can go for a stroll enjoying the sights and sounds of the surroundings. There’s a pavilion at the end of the pier from where you and your furbaby can watch a sunset. Because a trip to a beach is not complete until you watch that perfect beach sunset.
Waveland Beach, Bay St Louis
Waveland Beach is a beach that allows dogs to visit as long as they are on a leash. It offers about four miles of pristine sandy shores and serene vibes. The best thing about this beach is that it is almost never too crowded. So, if you’re looking to spend some time in tranquility, just lazing around at the beach with your pooch, then Waveland Beach is the place for you. You can even have a nice little picnic with your canine family member.
Hancock County Beaches, Hancock County
Hancock County is located between Bay St. Louis and Waveland, and is home to a number of pet friendly beaches. So, if you want to take a dog to the beach, then you can head to Hancock County for your next vacation. Go for a nice long walk on the tranquil shores of a beach or get in the water and have a great time splashing around with your little darling. You can also simply sit at the beach, sunbathe, enjoy the gorgeous landscapes and listen to the soothing rhythm of the waves. While at one of these beaches with a pet, you would need to adhere to certain rules and regulations that are in place for pets and their pawrents. One of those rules is that your pooch would have to be on a leash all the time. Also, you would need to clean up any mess that your pupper might make.
