Larger dogs that do not meet the requirement of the cabin will be transported in the cargo hold. Uzbekistan Airways Pet Policy

Uzbekistan Airways welcomes pets to travel in the cabin and through their cargo service. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s).

Pet Criteria

Dogs, cats, monkeys and birds are accepted for transportation with Uzbekistan Airways.

In-cabin

If the combined weight of the pet and the carrier is less than 17 lbs (8 kg), then they are eligible to travel in the cabin. The carrier must be either small or medium sized and pets must fit comfortably into it.

In-cargo

All the pets that do not meet the requirements of the in-cabin travel will be transported through the cargo service.

Emotional Support/Service Animal

Service dogs can travel in the cabin with a muzzle and a collar and without any limitation on the size and weight. You will, however need to show proof of your disability and the consequent need for the animal to travel with you.
