Tuifly Netherlands Pet Policy

Tuifly Airways is the world’s largest charter airplane and welcomes animals to travel in the cabin and in the cargo hold. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s). There may be limitations on the aircraft’s capacity for animals, so confirming availability is the first step of many, as are explained further.

Pet Criteria

Dogs and cats are accepted for travel with the airline.

In-cabin

To be eligible for travel in the cabin, the weight of the pet and the carrier combined together must be less than 13 lbs (6 kg). The carrier should be soft and waterproof, no bigger than 21" x 16" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). The pet should stay inside the carrier throughout the journey. The carrier cannot occupy a seat and must be stowed under the seat in front of you.

In-cargo

Pets weighing more than 13 lbs (6 kg) will be transported through the airline’s cargo service. The container must be secure and sturdy to prevent escape. It should also be large enough for the pet to move around naturally but should not be bigger than 32" H (83 cm).
