Silver Airways Pet Policy

Silver Airways accepts animals in the cabin for air travel. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s).Up to 10 animals per aircraft will be permitted, so confirming availability is the first step of many, as are explained further.

Pet Criteria

Cats, dogs, and household birds and service animals are permitted to travel with Silver Airways.

In-cabin

Only 1 carrier with 1 pet per passenger is allowed on the aircraft. Only exception to that is for up to 10 week old kittens and puppies and for household birds who can travel two at a time in a single carrier. The carrier should be big enough for the pet to sit, stand and move around naturally but must be smaller than 17” L x 16” W x 9” H (43 cm x 40 cm x 22 cm) and should also be sturdy, waterproof and properly ventilated.

Emotional Support/Service Animal

Trained service animals will be permitted to accompany individuals with a disability. They will have to occupy the space in front of the passenger seat and must not obstruct the aisle. If they are small animals, you may have to carry them in a kennel not bigger than 17” L x 16” W x 9” H (43 cm x 40 cm x 22 cm) which will be stowed under the seat.
