Gulf Air Pet Policy

Gulf Air welcomes pets to travel onboard, however, arrangements for it must be made in time. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s).

Pet Criteria

Live animals are accepted as pet passengers onboard Gulf Air.

In-cabin

At present, Gulf Air does not allow pets to travel in the cabin of the aircraft.

In-cargo

Animals are transported via the cargo service of the airline, Gulf Air Cargo, if the requirements are met. Animals must travel in a secure carrier that is required to be leak proof, claw proof and escape proof. It should also be intact with the necessary nuts and bolts to avoid any accidental mishap during transit.
