Corsair Pet Policy

Corsair welcomes pets to travel in the cabin, in the baggage hold and as checked baggage. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s). Pet Criteria

Cats, dogs, birds and some rodents older than 4 months are accepted for air travel by Corsair.

In-cabin

Only 1 pet per passenger is permitted to fly in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and its carrier is less than 11 lbs (5 kg). The pet is required to be well behaved and stay inside the carrier at all times. The carrier should be smaller than 45" (115 cm).The carrier should be secure to prevent escape and must have sufficient air holes for proper ventilation.

Checked Baggage

Pets that weigh more than 11 lbs (5 kg) as required for in-cabin travel and less than 110 lbs (50 kg) can travel as checked baggage. Two pets of the same breed who are comfortable with each other can travel in the same carrier as long as they weigh under 30 lbs (14 kg). The carrier must be a rigid one without wheels, properly secured, and adequately ventilated. The pet must be able to comfortably sit, stand and move around.

In-cargo

Pets that exceed all weight limitations will be transported through Corsair cargo. The carrier requirements for cargo transportation is the same as that of the baggage hold.

Emotional Support/Service Animal

Corsair allows assistance dogs to travel with the passenger provided they have proper identification like harness and collar, and meet the health requirements as stated by the country of origin and the destination country.
