Allegiant Air

Allegiant Air is a popular low cost airline based in the U.S.A. Its headquarters are located in Summerlin, Nevada. The airline was founded in 1997 under a different name (WestJet Express). Allegiant Air’s fleet consists of about 100 aircraft. Travelers can find Allegiant Airflight tickets for pretty much any city they want to fly to as the airline serves about 125 destinations in the country. The air carrier has many operating bases, some of which are Phoenix–Mesa Gateway Airport, Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Oakland International Airport, McCarran International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Nashville International Airport.

Carry-on Baggage

Travelers aboard Allegiant Air flights are permitted to take along a personal item free of cost. The dimensions of the personal item cannot be more than 7 x 15 x 16 inches. They can also take along a piece of carry-on baggage by paying a carry-on baggage fee. The dimensions of the carry-on baggage cannot exceed 9 x 14 x 22 inches. This piece of carry-on baggage must fit in the overhead bin easily.

Checked Baggage

Each traveler with Allegiant Air reservation is permitted to fly with up to four pieces of checked baggage. A checked baggage fee is applicable on each of the bags. The linear dimension of each of the bags cannot exceed 80 inches. Its weight cannot be more than 40 lb.
