Air Saint-Pierre Pet Policy

Pets are welcome on flights operated by Air Saint-Pierre. However, due to space restrictions only a few pets are permitted to travel. Therefore, advance reservations for it must be made by passengers willing to travel with their pet. It is of prime importance to be aware of the airlines’ specific pet policies to understand the requirements and prepare for a safe and comfortable journey for your pet(s).

Pet Criteria

Air Saint-Pierre accepts domesticated cats, dogs and ferrets as pet passengers.

In-cabin

Animals allowed to travel in the cabin of the aircraft must remain inside the carrier. The carrier should be made of a sturdy material, be properly ventilated on three sides and have enough space for the pet to stand, sit and turn around without any difficulty. The weight of the pet and that of the carrier together should not exceed 11 lbs.

Checked Baggage

Animals that exceed the weight requirements of the cabin are accepted for air travel as checked baggage. However, the combined weight of the pet and the carrier should be between 22 – 66 lbs.

In-cargo

Animals that are required to travel alone are transported via the cargo service of the airline. The documentation required for transporting the animal as cargo must be provided to the airline well in advance to ensure a confirmed spot.
